Golf enthusiasts have a choice of three splendid golf courses in Bali. The Bali Nirwana Golf Course near Tanah Lot Temple, designed by Greg Norman, is unique and exquisite. The Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club in the mountains of Bedugul is located some 2098 metres above sea level and is suitable for those who enjoy cooler conditions. Created in 1974 by course designer and internationally acclaimed golfer Peter Thompson, this 18-hole, 72-par course is a silver-medal golf resort and a masterpiece of natural beauty.

For a round of golf a little closer to the hotel, we suggest that you visit the New Kuta Golf located on the south-western rim of the island's Bukit Peninsula, within the Pecatu Indah Resort grounds. Perched above a limestone cliff, overlooking stunning Dreamland and Balangan Beach, New Kuta Golf is a championship course and the first links style layout in Indonesia. It will challenge the low handicapper and reward novice players. With five sets of tees, there's enough variety to ensure a satisfying experience for all skill levels. Designed by Golfplan – Ronald Fream, David Dale & Kevin Ramsey (USA), this golf course features 18-holes with a 72-par and turf grass seashore paspalum.

White Water Rafting

An exhilarating way to experience rural Bali is with a rafting excursion down the rapids of the Ayung River. You will see waterfalls, wildlife and gorgeous Javanese kingfishers, while enjoying a unique insight into traditional Balinese life. This trip includes transfers, snacks, lunch, and insurance, and takes a full day.
